Update and edit your website using the CMS WordPress.

WordPress is a free content management system (CMS) used by millions of websites worldwide. Building your website using the WordPress platform allows you to fully manage your content, pictures, pages and blog posts using a simple WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. The millions of easily installable plugins offer even more options such as: Event Calendars, Customizable SEO, Social Media Widgets and much, much more.

WordPress websites are built using Themes which can be purchased out of the box (as templates) or custom designed. Both options offer the same functionality, plugins and ability to edit, however only a custom designed Theme allows you the flexibility in branding, design and programming.

If you plan on updating your website on a regular basis or having a blog or news section on your website, I’d strongly recommend you choose a custom WordPress design. The long-term cost savings far outweigh the marginally higher upfront costs.

Easy-to-follow training manual and in-person training.

Don’t be overwhelmed by the idea that you’ll be able to edit and update your website yourself. My training manual and 1 hour in-person training session will have you feeling like a WordPress wiz by the 43rd minute. I’ll get you started by programming all of your pages, colors, links etc. and all you’ll have to do is edit accordingly using the WYSIWYG editor.

Both the training manual and 1 hour in-person training session are free when you hire me to design and/or develop your website. The training session can be completed at your office, home or any Tim Hortons with WiFi.
