When I design my websites, I always make sure that they render properly across all web browsers including; Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera. This is an absolute necessity because my sites get visitors from all of these browsers (some more than others) each month.

f you’ve purchased and iPhone or an iPod Touch, chances are you know the great battery life they hold. For example, the iPhone 4 with 3G on has over 7 hours of battery life. The new iPod Touches have even more.

In the last few years some of my web design clients have been asking me to add “that little logo in the address bar” on their websites. That “little logo” is called a favicon and is used more widely now than ever before on recent web browsers such as; Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome.

Last year in March I was contacted by the Montessori Early Years in LaSalle to design, develop and administrate their website. It was the first time they’d ever had a website designed and they weren’t sure exactly what they wanted or what’s more, what their customers wanted.

Lately, I’ve been trying to do a bit of SEO for myself by gaining trading backlinks with other local and non-local web designers. While Google and the other large search engines generally don’t approve of this, it’s considered more grey or white hat SEO than black hat SEO.
